Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute civil construction activities for overhead transmission line projects.
- Manage foundation construction for transmission towers, including excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, and backfilling.
- Ensure civil works are carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, project standards, and client requirements.
- Monitor tower foundation works, stub setting, anchor bolt positioning, and foundation alignment.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, surveyors, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality standards.
- Monitor daily site progress, manpower deployment, material availability, and construction schedules.
- Coordinate soil testing, surveying, levels, and setting-out activities as required for transmission line foundations.
- Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and maintain site inspection reports, daily progress reports, and relevant project documentation.
- Identify site issues, resolve technical challenges, and coordinate corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices at all times.
Requirements
- Full-time B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5-12 years of experience in the field.
- Proven hands-on experience in Transmission Line Projects.
- Gulf experience is mandatory.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum notice period of 30 days are preferred.
