Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Reporting: Lead an SRE squad, represent the team in senior management briefings, and produce dashboards and progress reports.
- Toil Reduction & Automation: Identify and eliminate toil through automation of repetitive tasks.
- Service Reliability & Uptime: Maintain and improve service availability by designing failover strategies and hardening systems.
- Performance & Latency Optimization: Enhance service performance and reduce latency using various profiling tools and analyses.
- Change & Deployment Management: Implement safe deployment practices (e.g., canary releases, blue-green deployments).
- Monitoring & Observability: Build and manage real-time monitoring and alerting systems.
- Incident Management & RCA: Lead incident resolution efforts and conduct root cause analyses.
- Capacity & Cost Optimization: Perform infrastructure capacity planning and cost-efficient scaling.
- Development & Code Review: Contribute to system development and participate in design/code reviews.
- Governance, Compliance & Documentation: Maintain documentation and enforce IT governance standards.
Education & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in software development and data structures/algorithms in two or more programming languages.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with expertise in large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, data centers, networks, and virtual infrastructure is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in English is required.
