We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance operations at scale using Python infrastructure-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications. The role requires a belief in automation as a software engineering problem and a keen interest in scientific approaches driven by metrics and code.
Role Responsibilities:
- Bring Python software engineering skills to the operations domain.
- Practice DevSecOps from bare metal to application.
- Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage, facilitating DevSecOps for applications on that infrastructure.
- Gain experience in a broad range of cloud technologies and stay updated on the latest capabilities in open source infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with Linux, including familiarity with networking and storage.
- Expertise in Python software development and operational experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
