The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the company's website or application. This role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to build and maintain a scalable and robust infrastructure that aligns with the company's business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and maintaining services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Designing and implementing highly available and scalable systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and establish service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Developing and maintaining monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards for system visibility.
- Conducting post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Automating repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for system architecture and troubleshooting procedures.
- Performing capacity planning and resource allocation for optimal system performance and scalability.
- Collaborating with development teams to implement and deploy new features while ensuring they meet reliability standards.
- Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in site reliability engineering.
- Enforcing compliance with information security policies and procedures within departmental activities.

Qualifications:
- Preferred Qualifications: A tertiary level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in site reliability engineering. Must have project implementation experience, be self-sufficient, and have provided technical supervision to junior staff in the past.
