SM / Director - FAAS IFRS Advisory

Join our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) business within Assurance and offer technical consultation to clients in the MENA region, focusing on complex IFRS accounting challenges. The role involves primarily delivering pre-transaction accounting advice while contractual and commercial terms are being finalized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of skilled IFRS technical accounting advisory specialists on high-profile projects.
• Work with prestigious clients to structure upcoming transactions, providing critical IFRS accounting advice.
• Collaborate with professional advisors and clients' in-house transaction experts.
• Coach and develop team members, promoting their journey in providing IFRS technical accounting advice and client handling skills.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Proactive, accountable, and results-driven mindset.
• Strong communication and resource management skills.
• Expertise in IFRS accounting advisory with at least 8 years of experience (including 3 years at a Senior Manager level) in a big 4 public accounting firm.
• CA/CPA/ACCA certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside the ability to analyze and research emerging accounting issues.
• Effective managerial and organizational skills, with a commitment to teamwork and leadership.
