Presight is seeking a Smart Cities Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in presales engagement and solution design. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to capture business requirements, translate them into comprehensive technical solutions, and craft effective responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This role demands a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and creativity to design innovative, scalable, customer-centric solutions across domains such as smart cities, public safety AI, IoT, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, digital transformation goals, and technology requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to design tailored solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Develop solution architectures that integrate technologies like AI, computer vision, IoT, and advanced analytics for various use cases.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and sales collateral to support go-to-market strategies.
- Define and implement data security and compliance measures for proposed solutions.
- Support demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and pilot deployments as part of presales activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in solution design, with at least 5 years in AI, computer vision, IoT, or smart technology projects.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in AI, computer vision, IoT platforms, and systems integration.
- Familiarity with concepts like Digital Twins, Edge Computing, and real-time analytics.
- Proficiency in creating solution architecture diagrams and technical proposals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
