What You'll Be Doing:

Smart City Enablement:
- Translate smart city solution requirements into performance and functional specifications.
- Ensure alignment between smart city platforms, applications, and field connectivity.
- Identify optimal locations for field sensors and devices, ensuring reliable network integration.
- Validate ICT designs to enable Smart City solutions compliant with regulations.
- Collaborate with licensed telecom operators for connectivity approvals.
- Support regulatory submissions and compliance documentation.

Consulting & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a trusted systems advisor to internal teams and clients.
- Support technical workshops and design reviews for stakeholder alignment.
- Provide clear guidance to non-technical decision-makers.
- Collaborate with architects and telecom operators.

Systems Design and Validation:
- Work with other the company disciplines and field teams during planning.
- Define connectivity requirements for various smart city use cases.
- Review network designs ensuring they are modern, scalable, and secure.
- Ensure a smooth transition from project implementation to operational handover.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in systems engineering, ICT, or smart city roles.
- Experience supporting smart city or IoT projects.
- Strong understanding of ICT concepts and the ability to collaborate with specialists.
Desired Skills:
- Specialization in ICT related fields such as fiber optic, wireless networks, and IoT connectivity.
- Experience with government or city authority projects in the GCC.
- Conceptual understanding of network security and resilience.
- Familiarity with GCC telecom regulations.
