We are looking for someone to design and implement next-generation protocol primitives that facilitate machine-verifiable commitments, state attestations, and autonomous coordination within decentralized environments. This role fuses protocol research and systems engineering, laying the groundwork for next-generation physical intelligence systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design cryptoeconomic systems that support verifiable commitments and programmable state transitions.
- Explore identity, attestation, and reputation primitives in decentralized settings.
- Develop secure mechanisms for cross-network coordination and minimizing trust requirements.
- Formalize security assumptions and adversarial models for protocol elements.
- Prototype and benchmark new consensus or validation mechanisms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research outcomes into production.
- Write technical specifications and research documentation.
- Take part in protocol audits and formal security assessments.
- Interact with the research community through publications and open-source initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, or applied mathematics.
- Proven experience in designing blockchain or decentralized protocol systems.
- In-depth knowledge of consensus mechanisms and cryptoeconomic incentives.
- Familiarity with digital identity, attestation systems, or verifiable data models.
- Proficiency in Rust, Go, or other systems-level programming languages.
- Capability to move from theoretical concepts to practical implementations.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with zero-knowledge systems or verifiable computation.
- Understanding of decentralized identity (DID) or credential frameworks.
- Background in mechanism design or formal protocol modeling.
- Contributions to Layer 1/Layer 2 solutions or interoperability protocols.
- Published research or contributions to open-source protocols.
