The position focuses on migrating and modernizing mission-critical workloads, developing enterprise-grade data and analytics platforms, and implementing generative AI and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, modern application development, data and analytics, and AI/ML.
You will help shape cloud strategies around actionable business outcomes, including accelerating time-to-market, unlocking revenue streams, enhancing operational efficiency, and establishing a digital foundation for long-term transformation. Success in this role requires building trust through technical credibility and effectively navigating complexities within large organizations.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will:
- Own the technical relationship with enterprise customers end-to-end.
- Engage customers to understand their business drivers for cloud adoption, evaluate their current on-premises or multi-cloud landscape, and create a viable path to the company.
- Build the technical case for the company through total cost of ownership analyses, migration strategies, and proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate tangible benefits.
- Develop hands-on solutions including prototypes, proofs of concept, migration runbooks, landing zone blueprints, and production-ready reference architectures.
- Assist customers in envisioning and building with generative AI and machine learning, showcasing the company as the platform of choice for these technologies.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development to develop go-to-market strategies, serving as the technical authority that drives cloud adoption.
- Act as the customer’s technical advocate within the company, providing valuable feedback from the field that informs the company service roadmap.
- Create and disseminate technical content to extend your impact, including workshops, immersion days, blog posts, code samples, reference architectures, and presentations at meetups, user groups, and conferences.
- Mentor fellow Solutions Architects to strengthen the team and foster growth through knowledge sharing.
A day in the life
A typical day may include engaging in a technical workshop with a financial services client regarding their core banking platform, collaborating on a proof of concept with a retail client using the company Bedrock, or designing a landing zone for a customer that has recently signed their Enterprise Agreement. You might also draft a migration playbook for a hospitality company, or join a call with a company service team to advocate for features that could facilitate crucial business negotiations. This role requires balancing in-depth technical knowledge with hands-on execution while building trust efficiently.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions for enterprise customers.
- Proven experience in architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience engaging with end user or developer communities.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to cloud environments.
- Familiarity with architecting/operating solutions on the company.
- Demonstrated technical breadth in the company and cloud fundamentals.
- Experience designing landing zones, multi-account strategies, and governance frameworks for new adopters.
- Prior work with end-user or developer communities.
