Position

Acuative is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 SOC Analyst with over 10 years of experience to strengthen our security operations team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of advanced threat detection, incident response, and the establishment of robust security protocols to safeguard our organization’s information systems. This is a full-time on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response Leadership: Spearhead the investigation and resolution of complex security incidents. Analyze alerts and determine immediate and long-term response strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Advanced Threat Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of security events to identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends. Employ threat intelligence to inform proactive security measures.
  • Security Monitoring Oversight: Manage and optimize security monitoring tools and platforms to ensure rapid detection of threats and anomalies. Ensure continuous improvement in monitoring capabilities.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 analysts. Foster collaboration across IT and security teams to enhance our overall security posture and incident response capabilities.
  • Detailed Reporting: Produce in-depth reports on security incidents, including root cause analysis and recommendations for remediation. Present findings and strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents, investigations, and actions taken. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices and lessons learned.
  • Proactive Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans. Recommend and implement robust security controls to effectively mitigate identified risks.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of the latest security threats and trends. Contribute to the development of innovative security strategies and tools that enhance our defense mechanisms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in a SOC environment, with a proven track record in a Level 3 role.
  • Deep understanding of security technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Skills:

  • Expertise in incident response, digital forensics, and threat hunting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, demonstrating effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
