Position

As a Social Media Manager, you will partner with the Account Director to ensure that social media efforts align with broader brand strategies and client business goals. You will attend client meetings as the lead voice for Social Media, providing expert recommendations and managing expectations. Your role will also involve supporting account growth through proposal development, upsells, and strategic social recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies, including content pillars, community management protocols, and platform playbooks.
  • Draft, edit, and publish high-quality daily social media posts across all relevant platforms.
  • Write persuasive copy in both English and Arabic, tailored to the target audience and cultural nuances.
  • Create engaging social-first content using mobile editing tools and design apps.
  • Ensure every post is optimized with the right tags, locations, and trending audio for maximum reach across the MENA region.
  • Take ownership of the final output, proofreading all copy to ensure zero errors before publishing.
  • Collaborate with design and video teams to optimize visual assets for social consumption.
  • Suggest new features, promotions, and competitions to build brand awareness and foster community loyalty.

Monitoring, Reporting & Innovation

  • Use social listening tools to pull actionable insights for portfolio clients.
  • Set specific objectives (KPIs) and report on ROI, translating engagement metrics into tangible business impact for clients.
  • Lead or support influencer marketing campaigns from identification and vetting through to execution and reporting.
  • Attend events and lead live social coverage, capturing real-time cultural moments relevant to Gulf audiences.
  • Educate clients and internal teams on best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements & Skills

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Social Media Management within a creative or digital agency environment.
  • Native-level Arabic and professional English.
  • Strong knowledge of the MENA social media landscape and platform-specific trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Outstanding organizational ability, managing Social Media Executives and coordinating with creative teams.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; comfortable presenting social strategies and performance reports.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills to navigate complex client requests.
  • Strong collaboration skills to ensure social content is both on-strategy and high-performing.
