You will define the architectural blueprint for a scalable, secure, and modular platform, guiding teams across backend, DevOps, and integration layers. This is a senior, hands-on design role focused on technical excellence and interoperability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and implement microservices architecture using Node.js, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Design an API Gateway for routing, security, and request transformation.
- Model business domains into bounded contexts with clear ownership.
- Enable event-driven communication using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native messaging.
- Establish logging, monitoring, and tracing standards (ELK, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
- Enforce authentication (OAuth2, OpenID), RBAC, and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Collaborate with SAP, identity, and blockchain teams on system integration.
- Mentor development teams and ensure alignment to architectural best practices.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 6+ years of backend or architecture experience, with 3+ years in microservices design.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js or Java (Spring Boot) and container orchestration.
- Deep understanding of event-driven systems and asynchronous communication.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI) and observability stacks.
- Exposure to ERP (SAP) or identity platforms (UAE Pass) is beneficial.
