As a Software Architect, you will design and build flexible software systems tailored to business needs and performance requirements, utilizing our cloud computing platforms while ensuring effective implementation. You will play a critical technical role in optimizing the infrastructure for developing and delivering next-generation analytics solutions at Presight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design software architecture that aligns with business requirements and leverage existing cloud platform services.
- Evaluate and select suitable technologies, frameworks, databases, and tools.
- Define software standards, best practices, and development methodologies.
- Design databases for software systems.
- Ensure architectural integrity throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security.
- Create architecture documentation and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Mentor and guide development teams in implementation and problem-solving.
- Lead a sub-team of 3 to 5 engineers in backend implementation.
- Comply with QHSE policies, procedures, and governance standards.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years in software backend development with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar senior technical role.
- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and networks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java Spring Boot and microservices development.
- Experience in cloud computing and deployment on cloud platforms.
- Extensive UNIX/Linux experience and Shell scripting abilities.
- Proficient in data handling, including SQL and NoSQL databases, with familiarity in Elasticsearch.
- Experience in RESTful API development.
- Knowledge in multithreading programming and concurrency programming.
- Proficient in Docker and containerization technologies.
