We are currently looking for a Software Automation Engineer to join a global Cisco-focused team, driving the design and delivery of advanced automation solutions across enterprise-scale networking environments. What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement network automation solutions using Cisco NSO and related technologies.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, RESTConf, Kong API Gateway, Kafka, and database technologies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define automation strategies and roadmaps.
• Build and optimize automation workflows using Python.
• Drive adoption of NetDevOps, Agile delivery, and CI/CD best practices using Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
• Work with modern virtualization and containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, ESXi, and KVM.
• Deliver scalable, reliable, and interoperable automation solutions across complex Cisco environments.

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and advanced network technologies.
• Proven experience with Cisco Network Automation platforms.
• Expertise in network automation and systems integration.
• Advanced Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and NetDevOps practices.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
