What You'll Do
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Writing high-performance code in Java, Python, and Go
- Creating SQL queries to process and store data in real-time
- Developing fast and responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Collaborating closely with other members of the development and technical teams
- Documenting requirements and technical designs, contributing to design discussions
- Guiding junior team members and sharing knowledge across teams
- Performing quality assurance through code review and identifying logic errors
- Analyzing performance data to troubleshoot and address bugs
- Developing prototypes, minimum viable products, and proofs of concept
- Providing technical assistance to support staff and resellers
- Researching new technologies and recommending practices to leadership
- Contributing to the creation of design documents to facilitate code reuse
- Ensuring system functionality, scalability, reliability, and performance
- Participating in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule
What You'll Bring to the Role
- 1-5 years of previous experience in a related field
- Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python
- Experience with Python, Google Compute Engine, and Google BigQuery
- Familiarity with Cloud computing platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Technical competence with software programs, including Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and engage with all organization levels
