As a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus in the Wallet & Disbursements team, you will design and build scalable APIs and backend services critical to the company’s digital wallet infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing robust backend APIs for transaction processing, disbursements, and wallet services.
- Ensuring data integrity and transactional consistency across distributed microservices.
- Building and maintaining backend infrastructure to support financial workflows at scale.
- Writing comprehensive unit and integration test cases for code reliability and coverage.
- Supporting frontend development for tools or dashboards using React as needed.
- Integrating with external banking and payment systems to support global operations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, performant solutions.
- Participating in architectural discussions, design reviews, and agile development processes.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
We are seeking developers primarily focused on backend development but comfortable contributing to frontend codebases, especially in React.
Must-Haves:
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, emphasizing backend systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js and MySQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful API design.
- Experience in microservices architecture within high-throughput environments.
- Familiarity with frontend development and frameworks (preferably React).
- Solid foundation in backend architecture, particularly in fintech or transactional domains.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Hands-on experience working with digital wallets, gateways, and financial systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka/AWS EventBridge).
- Exposure to cloud-native services (AWS), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Awareness of security, compliance, and reconciliation in financial platforms.
- Proficiency with React and its ecosystem is a plus for full-stack contributions.
