As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) in the company Security, your role will involve building and managing high-performance security platforms and implementing automation to address security threats. You will work on preventive measures, threat discovery, and mitigation solutions, tackling various security issues across multiple platforms and technologies such as cloud services, identity and access management, mobile devices, and virtualization.
You will collaborate with data scientists, security engineers, and other software development engineers to design, develop, test, and deliver new security features.
Responsibilities:
- Over 5 years of professional software development experience with at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Perl).
- More than 3 years contributing to architecture, system design, and scaling of solutions within distributed, virtualized, or cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
- Knowledge of software security concepts such as encryption, signing, and authentication.
- Understanding of software engineering processes and best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience developing reliable and scalable software solutions.
- Experience in building distributed services/systems.
- Understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
- Capability to take projects from requirement scoping through to launch.
- Comfort with ambiguous problems and thinking abstractly.
- Familiarity with best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
