Responsibilities
- Participating in the server-side project development of ByteDance's system, delivering highly available, high-performance, and scalable business products through high-quality design and implementation;
- Participating in the implementation of backend infrastructure and research of new technology and AI to tackle complicated technical problems;
- Exploring tools and processes to improve engineering efficiency. Deeply involved in the team's engineering excellences.
- Continuously contribute at all stages of the product delivery cycle, including but not limited to requirement communication / system design / monitoring and operation of online systems / project management, etc.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
- Familiar with operating systems, computer networks, information security and common programming languages;
- Capable of using common data structures and algorithms to solve problems;
- Strong sense of innovation, self-driven, and results-oriented;
- Proficient in English as a working language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Java or Golang related technology stack; familiar with JVM / Golang pprof related tuning skills;
- Familiar with MySQL and mainstream NoSQL databases, with related usage and optimization experiences, able to analyze and solve related problems independently;
- Familiar with at least one scripting language, able to independently troubleshoot / solve problems on Linux;
- Familiarity with AI / ML and being able to build products with AI.
