Software Development Specialist

Help AG, an e& enterprise company, is seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Specialist. This role involves the development and maintenance of the company’s software systems on Azure Cloud and/or Oracle Cloud. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of bespoke customer-facing applications and the migration of on-prem and legacy solutions into Microsoft/Oracle Clouds.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the software delivery team to execute SDLC processes, including analyzing requirements, designing solutions, implementing software code, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting.
• Working closely with internal cybersecurity experts, business owners, and developers to improve software requirements that add value and enhance efficiency.
• Managing various internal development projects with a structured approach and maintaining professional documentation in Git.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer, with a graduate degree in computer science, statistics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Proficiency in software development design and architecture best practices.
• Strong experience with:
  • Frontend technologies: Angular, React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Node.js
  • Datastores: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud services: Azure Cloud, Oracle Cloud, AWS Cloud (optional)
  • Scripting: Bash, Python
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with integration across various data sources and systems (e.g., SIEM, ITSM, ERP, CRM, HCM).
• Experience with REST APIs and NoSQL datastores.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
