Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing software components, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your main accountabilities will include:
- Developing and enhancing software components in the assigned software engineering function.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint and workflow applications.
- Applying principles of software engineering for analysis, design, development, unit and integration testing, and debugging of computer software.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, IT, and Logistics to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Providing accurate project schedule estimates and ensuring successful completion with respect to deadlines.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application of best practices.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or a fresh graduate from an apprenticeship.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with web development technologies including SharePoint, ASP.Net, Web Service, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good spoken and written skills in Arabic and English.
