Software Engineer - Backend - Payments

As a Software Engineer on the Payments & Blockchain team, you'll play a critical role in the integration of our payments systems, responsible for every dollar that goes in and out of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust services and libraries for payments integration across the company products.
• Write reusable, testable, and highly efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering, to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements in a large-scale distributed systems architecture.
• Partner closely with crypto-native engineers.

Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in writing clean, scalable backend code in a systems language, preferably Rust or Node/TypeScript.
• Strong commitment to a security-first mindset when designing systems.
• Capability to autonomously debug issues across the stack, including OS, network, and application layers.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event Driven Systems.
