As a Software Engineer specializing in Calypso Scripting, you will develop and maintain applications using Java and Calypso scripting, customizing and supporting treasury systems on the Calypso platform. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions, troubleshooting and resolving production issues to ensure system stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and deployments. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and Calypso scripting.
- Customize and support treasury systems on the Calypso platform.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and deployments.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Support integration with other banking and financial systems.
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in Java development.
- Hands-on experience with Calypso scripting and treasury systems.
- Understanding of financial products (derivatives, securities, etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in DevOps within Calypso, including Gradle Integration and familiarity with upstream and downstream systems (FIX, Microservices, KAFKA).
- Knowledge of both front office and back office processes, with an emphasis on technical integration and customization.
- Familiarity with treasury products such as FX and IRD is mandatory.
- Experience with Calypso architecture and versions 16, 17, and 18.
- Experience in workflow and engine configuration.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Calypso.
