RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Definition and evaluation of high-level technical requirements and subdivision into functional, performance and interface requirements.
  • Definition of the software architecture suitable to satisfy the identified technical requirements.
  • Support the development, integration, and verification of software for both the space and ground segments of satellite and SDR payload systems.
  • Contribute to the implementation of control, monitoring, data processing, and interface functions across the system.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, software descriptions, and test procedures.
  • Participate in laboratory and system-level testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Work closely with firmware, digital hardware, payload, and system engineering teams to support end-to-end system integration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Brilliant and motivated graduates, PhD students, PhDs in the faculties of engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, interested in the position of Software Engineer to be included in the company operating in the space sector.
  • Availability for national and international travel. The job requires frequent travel abroad to partner facilities.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Desirable Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Telecommunications Engineering or similar.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Embedded microcontroller/DSP programming.
  • Object-oriented, real-time programming in a Windows and/or Linux environment.
  • C, C++ languages.
  • Network Protocols.
  • Familiarity with development environments: Visual Studio, MPLAB.
  • Use of virtual machines.
  • Compilation with remote machines, cross/compilation, cmake, makefile.
