Job Description:
- Stay updated with the latest software development methodologies to provide top-tier software solutions.
- Analyze product requirements to understand engineering needs, evaluate technical feasibility, estimate efforts, and collaborate with the Product Team to provide necessary solutions.
- Build development components and manage programming to transform requirements into functioning software.
- Document coding steps to ensure comprehensibility for future modifications and maintenance.
- Write unit, integration, and UI/Snapshot tests.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with colleagues for code reviews and deliver reports accordingly.
- Conduct functional and module testing to ensure solution functionality.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on product development, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of software development experience, with practical knowledge of design patterns and algorithms, ideally using Kotlin or Java.
- Openness to various technologies, with a strong focus on native Android development.
- Hands-on experience in writing high-quality, testable code and familiarity with modern mobile architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of the mobile engineering lifecycle and practical experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban).
- Proven ability to impact the development of complex systems and welcome contributions to open-source projects.
- Strong project management skills and experience with versioning tools (Git).
- Familiarity with modern Android Development practices including ViewModel, LiveData, Paging, Navigation, SafeArgs, Retrofit2, RxJava2, and Dagger2.
- Understanding of Modular App Architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Firebase, Google Maps API, Fastlane scripting, and Checkout.com SDK.
