We are looking for a highly talented Software Engineer II - Backend to join our growing team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Product Team to understand product requirements and provide technical expertise for all products, assisting in analyzing, designing, testing, and structuring the required solutions to deliver high-quality working software based on the business needs and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on the latest software development methodologies to provide best-in-class software solutions.
- Analyze product requirements to understand engineering requirements, estimate efforts, and provide solutions in collaboration with the Product Team.
- Assist in building development components to transform the requirements into actual working software.
- Document all coding steps to ensure comprehensibility and facilitate future modifications and maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with colleagues for code reviews and deliver code review reports.
- Perform functional and module testing to ensure the functionality of delivered solutions.
- Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
- Follow relevant policies, procedures, and processes for daily work to maintain consistency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes, practices, and productivity enhancement.
- Contribute to preparing timely and accurate reports that meet the requirements and objectives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing the needs of both internal and external customers in a courteous and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in backend development using GoLang, Ruby on Rails (RoR), Java, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of software architecture, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, Kubernetes, and containerization.
