We are looking for a highly talented Software Engineer II - Backend to join our growing team in Riyadh. If you are seeking a place to gain hands-on experience and make a direct impact, then this may be the right opportunity for you!
As a Software Engineer II - Backend, you will collaborate with the Product Team to understand product requirements and provide technical expertise for all products as required. You will assist in analyzing, designing, testing, and structuring the needed solutions to deliver high-quality software based on business needs and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on the latest software development methodologies to deliver best-in-class software solutions.
- Analyze product requirements to grasp engineering needs, estimate efforts, and collaborate with the Product Team for solutions.
- Assist in developing components to transform requirements into functional software.
- Document coding steps for clarity and future modifications.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on code reviews and deliver reports accordingly.
- Perform functional and module testing to ensure the functionality of delivered solutions.
- Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
- Follow policies and procedures to maintain controlled daily work.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and productivity.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in backend development using GoLang, Ruby on Rails (RoR), Java, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Knowledge of software architecture, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, Kubernetes, and containerization.
