Software Engineer II - Backend

The company, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a highly talented Software Engineer II - Backend to join our growing team in Riyadh. As a Software Engineer II, you will collaborate with the Product Team to understand product requirements and provide technical expertise. You will also analyze, design, test, and structure solutions to deliver high-quality software based on business needs and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software and stay updated on the latest methodologies for best-in-class solutions.
• Analyze product requirements and work closely with the Product Team to estimate efforts and develop solutions.
• Build development components to transform requirements into working software.
• Document coding steps to ensure clarity for future modifications and maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on code reviews and provide reports accordingly.
• Perform functional and module testing to ensure the software's functionality.
• Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in backend development using GoLang, Ruby on Rails (RoR), Java, or Python.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• Knowledge and understanding of software architecture, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, Kubernetes, and containerization.
