We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II - Backend to join our expanding team in Riyadh. This role is ideal for those looking to gain hands-on experience and make a direct impact. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Product Team to understand product requirements and provide technical expertise, assisting in analyzing, designing, testing, and structuring solutions to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Software Development:
- Stay updated with software development methodologies to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Analyze product requirements to determine engineering needs and provide collaborative solutions.
- Assist in building development components from requirements to working software.
- Document coding steps for clarity and future maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on code reviews and deliver feedback.
- Perform functional and module testing to ensure the functionality of delivered solutions.
- Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
- Governance and Resilience:
- Adhere to policies and procedures for consistent daily operations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and productivity.
- Promote adherence to policies within the organization.
- Daily Operations:
- Conduct daily operations to maintain workflow consistency.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports concerning work objectives and standards.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing internal and external needs courteously.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in backend development using GoLang, Ruby on Rails (RoR), Java, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of software architecture, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, Kubernetes, and containerization is essential.
