As a Software Engineer II - Backend, you will design, write, and release software as solutions for end-to-end problems in your business domain, delivering value in small batches according to our engineering standards. You will own and innovate the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), understanding the scalability and complexity of your services. Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in an Extreme Programming environment (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring)
- A solid understanding of lean/agile values and related practices
- Empathy and strong relationship-building skills
- Good verbal and written communication abilities
- A humble, curious, and open-minded attitude with a growth mindset, thriving on continuous feedback
- Experience in testing with a focus on automated end-to-end quality
- Familiarity with distributed systems architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, RESTful Services)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Experience in building, maintaining, and improving systems with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery
