Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize software modules for simple to complex system requirements, ensuring high-quality code, system performance, and maintainability in SAP EWM environments. This role requires active involvement in coding (SAP ABAP), debugging, and testing. The position involves some travel to customer or project sites.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

• Software Design: Create software designs in conjunction with consultants for SAP EWM implementation projects.
• Coding & Debugging: Implement designs in SAP EWM systems, conduct code reviews, fix complex bugs, and present technical findings. Optimize code per specifications.
• Testing, Documentation & Support: Participate in strict software testing procedures, including onsite integration testing. Provide onsite and remote support for go-lives.

Skills & Experiences:

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in software engineering with strong ABAP expertise.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• In-depth experience with SAP software, ideally with SAP EWM.
• Good understanding of intralogistics processes.
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with automation technology using SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS) is a plus.
• Proficient in clean code practices and code reviews.
• Comfortable with debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Possess an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent self-learning capabilities and interpersonal communication.
• Experience mentoring and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
