Software Engineer (Java) - Credit

Revolut is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Technology team, known for being one of the best in the industry. This team focuses on building world-class financial features from the ground up, rather than fixing legacy systems. The role involves building new financial backends and innovative applications that have a significant impact on the global financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Building mobile APIs
• Developing microservices to enhance the architecture
• Improving essential systems such as risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
• Focusing on greenfield development and system enhancements

What You'll Need

• Fluency with Java
• 6+ years of back-end development experience
• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, maths, physics, or a related field
• Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala
• Background in finance
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
