Software Engineer (Java)

Join our prestigious Technology team at Revolut, where you will significantly impact the global financial landscape as a Backend Engineer. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building mobile APIs
• Developing microservices to enhance our architecture
• Improving critical systems such as risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
• Focusing on greenfield development and upgrading existing systems

• Java 17/21
• GCP, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic
• PostgreSQL, Redis
• Spock, SparkJava
• JOOQ, Flyway

What You'll Need:

• Fluency in Java
• 6+ years of experience in backend development
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• A quick learner with an ambitious attitude and a results-driven approach
• Ability to thrive in a team environment within a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala
• Experience in the finance sector
• Experience in start-up or scale-up environments
• Experience within a product-focused setting
