About The Team
Our DMart network consists of 860+ dark stores and 31 distribution centers across MENA markets. We are launching a new domain from our Dubai Global Tech Hub focused on enhancing operational intelligence within this network, aimed at predicting demand, optimizing stock movement, and proactively addressing issues.

Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage the systems that support our network operations end-to-end: from discovery and design to delivery and post-launch support.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team (engineers, product managers, data analysts) in ongoing customer and business discovery to align with desired outcomes.
- Design, code, and release software solutions to address end-to-end problems, delivering value in small increments while adhering to engineering standards.
- Understand the scalability and complexity of services and take ownership of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Facilitate the optimization of team practices to cultivate a self-organized and continuously improving unit.
- Evaluate and simplify the tech organization’s systems, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications
- Strong empathy and the ability to build relationships easily.

- Knowledge of lean and agile values, principles, and related practices.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in an Extreme Programming environment (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring) with a strong focus on .NET, Golang, and C#.
- Experience in automated testing with a focus on end-to-end quality assurance.
- Familiarity with distributed system architectures (Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful services).
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Proven experience with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery.
