Software Engineer – Oracle ERP HRMS (EBS/Fusion)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary objective of this role is to design, develop, implement, and maintain software-based technology and products that support various operations across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes a complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, solution design, coding, unit testing, integration, and support during quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
• Develops software solutions that comply with company coding standards and technical designs, ensuring output is well-designed and testable code.
• Collaborates with the Software Technical team to understand both functional and non-functional requirements as well as the technical design aspects.
• Liaises with the IT Corporate & Support team to gather various business scenarios and requirements to create prototypes aligned with departmental needs.
• Develops software verification plans and establishes quality assurance procedures, implementing unit test cases and conducting debugging to resolve defects.
• Integrates software components into a fully functional software system and performs System Integration Tests (SIT).
• Documents the user manual, product release notes, and technical documentation for software maintenance.
• Provides continuous support and guidance to the business post go-live, offering technical assistance and evaluating user feedback for potential future releases and fixes.
• Ensures the development cycle meets software development KPIs, focusing on productivity, defect density, and system performance.
• Engages with the software engineering community to share experiences, learn new frameworks, and develop new skills.
• Stays informed about industry trends and technologies, pursuing essential certifications as necessary.
• Contributes to the development and future updates to software repositories while adhering to best practice coding standards, guidelines, and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience
• Fluent in English

ISR REQUIREMENTS

• Reads and complies with ISR policies of the company and diligently reports any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
• Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
