We are currently hiring a software engineer to join our Kubernetes product team. In this role, you will build operators and addons, ensuring complete lifecycle management of mission-critical components. You will gain familiarity with the latest features in Kubernetes and work to integrate the best open-source functionality for our customers. This position is especially suited for an engineer passionate about open-source software, Linux, Golang, Python, and Kubernetes.

Work Conditions:

  • This is a remote position available in EMEA and the Americas.
  • Work from home with global travel 2 to 4 weeks per year for internal and external events.

What You Will Focus On:

  • Write high-quality code to create new features.
  • Debug issues and engage with a vibrant community.
  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
  • Work with skilled engineers, including experts in various fields.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Golang and fluent in Python.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or related fields.
  • A passion for technology and working with brilliant colleagues.
