This position is part of the Solutions Engineering team, which collaborates closely with our managed infrastructure operations team. We operate private OpenStack clouds and Kubernetes clusters globally, utilizing our experiences to enhance our infrastructure-as-code products.
We primarily work with Python to develop open source automation capabilities, emphasizing high quality in design, documentation, tests, and performance. The role includes:
- Working in Python and Golang to design and deliver open source software operations code.
- Engaging with the entire Linux stack, from kernel to applications.
- Creating high-quality monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- Innovating open source operations for our customers and community.
- Following agile software development practices while coaching and developing team members.
- Contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements:
- Passion for Python development.
- Organized with an ability to deliver high quality software timely.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Practical experience with Linux and networking.
- Lifelong learner.
