In this role, you will join the Solutions Engineering team, collaborating with managed infrastructure operations that utilize private OpenStack clouds and Kubernetes clusters worldwide. Your primary focus will be on developing Python software to enhance open source automation capabilities and improve DevOps workflows. You will engage with various aspects of the Linux stack, shape open-source monitoring and alerting infrastructure, and apply engineering design principles in your coding practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver open-source software operations code using Python and Golang.
- Work across the Linux stack, from kernel and networking to applications.
- Shape high-quality open-source monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- Follow agile software development practices and coach colleagues.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values.
- Travel globally up to 10% for internal and external events.
