The Solutions Engineering team collaborates closely with our managed infrastructure operations team, which manages numerous private OpenStack clouds and Kubernetes clusters globally. This collaboration enables us to enhance our infrastructure-as-code products drawn from real-world experiences of our users.
The role involves:
- Working in Python and Golang to design and deliver open source software operations code
- Engaging with the complete Linux stack (kernel, networking, storage, and applications)
- Designing high-quality open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure
- Innovating open source operations for customers and the community
- Adhering to sound engineering design and testing principles
- Following agile software development practices
- Coaching and developing team members
- Contributing to a healthy, collaborative engineering culture
- Potentially traveling up to 10% of the time for internal and external events

- A passionate Python developer
