Key Responsibilities:
- Feature Development & Maintenance: Build new application features while optimizing and maintaining existing codebases.
- Code Quality & Reviews: Enforce industry standards by writing clean, efficient code and reviewing peers' pull requests to maintain high-quality deliverables, ensuring services are monitored adequately.
- Architecture & Design: Participate in the research, system design, and implementation of architectural decisions into production code.
- Troubleshooting: Independently diagnose system bugs, analyze technical limitations, and deploy effective fixes. Participate in on-call rotation for production issues.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Interact with product managers, QA testers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely project delivery.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior developers on the team and assist colleagues when technical hurdles arise.
Qualifications:
- Common:
- Strong fundamentals of software development and computer science.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Back-end:
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure.
