As a Software Engineer at AI71, you will play a crucial role in developing industry-leading AI software driven by cutting-edge research. This position offers the opportunity to design, implement, and deploy innovative software solutions in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will encompass both horizontal (platform) and vertical (project/product) areas, contributing to infrastructure development and product creation. You will create software focused on long-term maintainability while engaging in prototyping, live experimentation, and leveraging powerful technologies such as LLMs and Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of features from conception to launch, ensuring quality and performance.
- Code and contribute to prototyping, live experimentation, and maintain infrastructure related to AI and NLP models.
- Collect and analyze data on feature and platform performance, including reliability and customer usage.
- Collaborate with domain experts, UX teams, and product managers to translate organizational needs into technical solutions.
- Promote industry best practices in design, development, security, privacy, and software maintenance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to solve complex problems using AI, ML, and NLP technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience working with AI, data structures, or algorithms.
- Experience in frontend or backend web development, data engineering, data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PHP, SQL.
- Interest in Generative AI, distributed systems, and infrastructure services.
