Avrioc Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Android to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you define, design, and ship new features. You will also focus on unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases and usability, along with bug fixing and performance improvement of applications.
An emphasis on continuous discovery and implementation of new technologies will allow you to maximize development efficiency. You will work within the Android framework and MVVM architecture, ensuring that the software delivered meets high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct unit tests for robustness, handling edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Address bug fixing and enhance application performance.
- Continuously discover and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Kotlin with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Understanding of Dependency Injection frameworks and experience with Android SDK.
- Familiarity with Android architecture components and code review processes.
- Working experience with Coroutines and Flow.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
- Experience with large-scale SQLite/Room databases.
- Familiarity with XMPP, WebRTC, and Jetpack Compose.
