Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies.
- Hands-on experience in TypeScript and Unit Testing.
- Participate actively in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
- Experience working with CI/CD principles and troubleshooting issues in distributed service ecosystems.
- Understanding of containerization with experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to API gateway integrations, such as 3Scale, and understanding of Single-Sign-On or token-based authentication methods (Rest, JWT, OAuth).
- Proficient in using task/message queues including but not limited to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
Technical Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of developing scalable APIs.
- Practical experience with GraphQL.
- Familiarity with coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
- Previous experience in the banking, financial, and fintech sectors is preferred.
- Agile methodology experience.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity and effectiveness.
- Self-motivated with the capability to drive initiatives without supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact and present ideas to senior and executive management.
