In this role, you will define team strategy, shape the strategic direction of your team, and contribute to the overall technical strategy for HungerStation’s consumer products. You will lead and mentor an exceptional engineering team, guide them in building stable, scalable, and reliable features and services, and empower individual growth by fostering an agile and autonomous environment.

Key responsibilities include driving best practices in engineering, such as TDD, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies, as well as owning projects in collaboration with product managers. You will manage stakeholders, create roadmaps, oversee costs, and play a key role in scaling systems and processes, including engineering hiring and onboarding.

Qualifications: You should have at least 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in team leadership. Expertise in the B2C domain and hands-on leadership experience is essential.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, Ruby on Rails, Swift, or Kotlin is required, along with a strong foundation in cloud-based distributed systems. You should possess deep knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, microservices, and design for scalability, as well as experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL.
