We are hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead our project, Multipass, which enables developers to experience local cloud environments on their workstations. The role focuses on leading a remote team of engineers, fostering their growth, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of remote engineers.
- Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
- Set and manage expectations with engineering teams, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Advocate for modern software development practices.
- Participate in code and architectural reviews.
- Engage with the broader community, partners, and internal teams.
- Work from home with global travel for 4 to 6 weeks per year for events.
Requirements:
- Strong track record in developing and growing teams.
- Focused on delivering high-quality software on time.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or similar field.
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
- Expertise in modern C++ development and cross-platform development (macOS or Windows).
- Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VirtualBox, KVM).
- Open source experience is preferred.
