As an engineering manager at Canonical, your primary responsibility is to the people you support: ensuring they are growing as engineers, undertaking valuable work, and generally having a great experience at Canonical. You are expected to provide technical leadership, challenge and grow your team members, and facilitate technical delivery while working on strategy and execution.

- Actively engage with the broader leadership team.
- Work from home with international travel up to 6 weeks per year for internal and external events.

- Experienced in leading a distributed team to deliver features and manage production services at scale.

- Knowledgeable and passionate about technology.
- Experienced in delivering high-quality software and designing complex distributed systems.
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid experience working in an agile development environment.
Work Conditions:
- This is a remote role based in the EMEA region. Candidates must be located within this region.
- International travel up to 6 weeks per year is expected.
