As an engineering manager at Canonical, your primary responsibility is to the people you support: ensuring that they are growing as engineers, doing valuable work, and generally having a great time at Canonical. We are looking for technical leadership and a solid background in software development, enabling you to challenge and grow your team members. You will have the opportunity to influence culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work with your team on strategy and execution.

- Work from home with international travel up to 6 weeks per year for internal and external events.
Who You Are:
- Experience leading a distributed team to deliver features and manage production services at scale.
- Passion for mentoring, developing, and growing people, with an outstanding track record.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about technology.
- Experience delivering high-quality software and designing complex distributed systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid experience working in an agile development environment.
Work Conditions:
- This is a remote role, candidates must be located within the EMEA region.
- International travel up to 6 weeks per year for events.
