We are seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our organization. In this pivotal role, you will maintain and enhance our customer screening modules, closely coordinating with various teams to execute onboarding activities, ensuring client satisfaction and successful adoption of our products. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the strategic direction of your team and contribute to the technical strategy for the screening modules.
- Guide and coach an exceptional team of engineers, mentoring them in both technical and non-technical aspects.
- Assist team members in shaping their individual careers while fostering a self-organized, agile, and autonomous team environment.
- Establish and enhance Engineering Practices within your team to improve engagement, delivery speed, and quality.
- Collaborate with product managers to lead team projects, managing stakeholders, dependencies, roadmaps, alignment, and costs.
- Identify necessary changes within your team, create a vision to guide the change, and execute it effectively.
- Contribute to the evolution of our overall architecture for systems and products managed by your team.
- Scale various organizational processes, including engineering hiring and onboarding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Expertise in coaching and mentoring teams, evolving structures and processes using Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of product and business KPIs and success in converting them into objectives through the OKR framework.
- Proficient in solving complex technical and organizational problems using appropriate frameworks and practices.
- Experience in building complex, high-quality applications with strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and microservice architecture.
- Expertise in selecting best practice design patterns and principles for software architectures and algorithms.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
