Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of software engineers in the design and development of mission-critical defense applications.
Define team objectives, assign responsibilities, and track progress against milestones.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with defense quality standards (NATO AQAP, MIL-STD).
Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional leaders to align with program objectives.
Drive adoption of software best practices, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement.
Manage integration of software with hardware, RF, radar, and test systems.
Contribute to technology roadmaps and innovation in embedded systems.
Ensure robust documentation and support for certification processes.

Requirements

8+ years in software engineering, 3+ in leadership roles.
Strong embedded programming expertise (C/C++), Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with real-time programming and communication protocols (TCP/IP, MODBUS, SNMP).
Proven record in delivering complex defense projects.
Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Knowledge of military-grade documentation and certification processes.
