Responsibilities:
- Define the strategic direction of the team and contribute to the technical strategy for screening modules.
- Guide and mentor a team of engineers in both technical and non-technical aspects to build stable, scalable, and reliable features.
- Assist team members in career development while fostering a self-organized, agile, and autonomous team environment.
- Establish and enhance engineering practices to improve engagement, delivery speed, and quality of features and services.
- Collaborate with product managers to lead team projects, managing stakeholders, dependencies, roadmaps, alignment, and costs.
- Identify necessary changes and create a vision to guide effective execution.
- Contribute to the evolution of overall architecture for products managed by the team.
- Scale organizational processes, including engineering hiring and onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in coaching and mentoring teams and applying Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of product and business KPIs with proficiency in the OKR framework.
- Experience in building complex, high-quality applications with knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and microservice architecture.
- Proficient in selecting best practice design patterns and principles for software architecture and algorithms.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
