We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer who can champion the delivery of features. This involves working across software and hardware to ensure that the full system is integrated together seamlessly when it needs to be delivered to the customer.
At the company, you will:
- Deliver full-system features that span software and hardware that meet customer requirements
- Directly interact with the customers at the customer site to identify the target use-cases, then manage the project to complete the integration
- Work cross-functionally with the product, software, mechanical and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems
- Develop a deep understanding of the entire system architecture and how the software and hardware components interact
- Design and bring up test rigs needed for end-to-end testing and validation of system performance
- Test and troubleshoot integration between various components to ensure reliability
We're looking for someone who has:
- 2+ years of experience in software integration or development
- An understanding of electronic systems and how to setup and debug them
- Experience with developing or testing software applications
- Software development experience in Python or C/C++
- Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting
Nice to have:
- Experience in the automotive industry and working with automotive technologies including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, AUTOSAR, etc
- Experience interacting with customers to deliver projects that meet their requirements
- Experience developing software for large projects (CI/CD, release process, etc)
- Familiarity with developing software for embedded systems
- Skills in other adjacent areas (CAD/3D printing, PCB design, etc)
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation at the company for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
The company pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
